Brink Adventures

No Comments | March 24th, 2008

Brink is a not-for-profit adventure-driven environmental organisation run by a small group of volunteers in Brisbane, Australia, the idea behind the project is to deliver educational resources to students trough real life experiences which is in short what it means Adventure Learning.

I will be developing their new identity as well as a new website and online presence. At long term I will also be developing online interactive experiences with educational experts to deliver studying content in a more attractive way to students.

Bellow you can see the logo study for their new image. I will be posting here further developments.

I always thought of the awards as a way of getting recognition and respect from my peers, some would be of more importance for their value others for what they meant to me as a designer, but I was missing an important point… awards meant more job opportunities either by increasing my visibility or by proving the quality of my work.

As one of my friends said “people tend to like what other people like” and even if that may sound like underestimation for your work it is true and if you know how to use it, it can lead to more and better jobs.

So to prove me right I have submitted one of my works in some of the best Award websites out there and got a nice amount of features and awards which not only made my work and me more visible it increased exponentially the traffic in both my website and the submitted site.

I would like to leave my respect and thanks for the awards and features in all the websites, here is a list of them:
